The Internation Children's Bible by Thomas Nelson Publishing

This Bible is wonderfully formated for children, ages 8-12. The BIG RED BIBLE is an International Children's Bible translation and it is one that children can read and understand. I love the vivid 3-D pictures interspersed throughout the Bible that visualize a Bible story and also give the reference where it can be found. There is also a Bible dictionary at the end that would be very useful for a Sunday School setting if the teacher is asking them the meanings of specific words. I also liked the other helps at the end of the Bible including 'Memory Verses for Life'. I can see this as a valuable tool in reading to children in a devotional setting and also using in a Sunday School class or AWANA type counsel time in reading Bible stories that the younger age will understand. I also think this would be a great 'reward' Bible for children in completing memory verse work, etc.
