The Choice by Robert Whitlow

I love to read books written by Robert Whitlow. He has a different take on subjects and it just gives me a freshness to look at a topic from someone else's perspective. The Choice is centered around the 1950's - 1960's era where a high school girl finds out she is pregnant. I do not know for sure that this is the era that Whitlow is focusing on. I just know this was the time when I saw, in my own hometown, that pregnant teen girls usually had to move away to have their baby. That said, it could have been later since abortion was discussed and I don't know that it was that much of a choice at that time. Everything aside, it is interesting the choice that this girl made with her family, and what was the outcome of her decision. I can't describe it more without giving detail. Just know it is a great book on this subject. I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers for an advance reading as part of their Booksneeze bloggers program . I was not required to write a positive review and therefore, the book review is 100% my own opinion.
