Sisters of the Quilt Trilogy

I just have to say that I love Cindy Woodsmall's writing. It really takes alot for me to read fiction anymore and I don't care to read about what obviously is going to happen. But this book has enough twists and turns that it has definitely kept my interest going.

In the very first chapter we have our main character introduced. Hannah Lapp is Amish but loves a Mennonite guy who lives across the road from her. And I just can't believe that the Amish don't allow their people to marry Mennonites!! But, my feelings aside, I really learned some of the Amish ways that I never knew existed. And it's hard for me to believe they are that strict with their people. Especially when I love to eat at one of the Amish restaurants around here and they all seem so friendly.

I am definitely getting away from this book review, which is actually a trilogy. But it's hard to review a fiction book without giving away the plot or many plots as this book has. It's a great read and will keep your interest going. And I guess that's about all I have to say about that!

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
