Max On Life

This book gathers Max's responses to the most often-asked questions over his more than 30 years as an author, pastor, husband, and father. It is divided into 7 sections: Hope, Hurt, Help, Him/Her (sex, romance), Home, Haves/Have-Nots (work, money), and the Hereafter.

This book will in no way answer all the questions you may have about the Bible, life, or any situation you have had a question about. I would say the first section answers basic questions about salvation, unanswered prayer, and God's will for my life. Although there are definitely other questions that fall under this category.

In the second section on Hurt someone asks Max to explain Romans 8:28. But there are a variety of other questions under this subject also. How to grow closer to God is under 'Help' but again, one cannot possibly list all the questions that are answered under each section.

There really is a wide variety of questions asked and Max gives his insight that is very characteristic of his study and experience over the years. I think this is a great book for any one who loves Max Lucado's writings. But I don't think it's the last answer on any one subject.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers as part of their book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
